1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using NiveshIQ, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use the platform.

2. Nature of Service

NiveshIQ is an educational research tool that:

• Displays publicly available mutual fund data sourced from AMFI India and Tickertape.
• Generates illustrative fund shortlists using an algorithm based on user-provided inputs (age, risk tolerance, goals, investment horizon).
• Provides a SIP calculator and fund comparison tool for educational purposes.
• Allows users to manually track their fund holdings.

NiveshIQ does NOT:

• Provide investment advice or personalised financial recommendations.
• Execute buy, sell, or switch transactions for any mutual fund.
• Manage or hold any securities, funds, or money on your behalf.
• Guarantee any investment returns or outcomes.
• Have access to your Demat account, bank account, or brokerage account.

3. No Investment Advice

The fund suggestions, scores (NiveshScore), rankings, projections, and portfolio allocations shown on NiveshIQ are illustrative and educational only. They are generated by an automated algorithm and do not constitute a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any mutual fund scheme.

Past performance of mutual funds is not indicative of future results. Projected returns shown on NiveshIQ are based on assumed rates and are not guaranteed. Actual returns may vary significantly and you may lose part or all of your invested capital.

You are solely responsible for your investment decisions. NiveshIQ and its developer(s) shall not be held liable for any losses arising from decisions made based on information displayed on this platform.

4. KYC Requirement

Investing in mutual funds in India requires completion of KYC (Know Your Customer) verification as mandated by SEBI. NiveshIQ does not perform KYC verification. Before investing in any mutual fund, you must ensure your KYC is complete through your broker, AMC, or a KYC Registration Agency (KRA).

5. Data Accuracy

Fund data (NAVs, returns, expense ratios, AUM, risk metrics) is sourced from AMFI India and Tickertape. While we make reasonable efforts to keep data current, we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or timeliness. Data may be delayed by up to 24 hours. Always verify fund information with the respective AMC or AMFI India before making investment decisions.

6. NiveshScore

NiveshScore is a proprietary composite metric calculated from publicly available fund data (returns, expense ratio, Sharpe ratio, AUM, Sortino ratio, and alpha). It is intended as a research tool to help users compare funds on multiple dimensions. A higher NiveshScore does not imply a fund is "better" or more suitable for any particular investor. The score methodology may change without notice.

7. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate information during registration. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NiveshIQ and its developer(s) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including but not limited to investment losses, data loss, or service interruptions.

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

9. External Links

Links to third-party platforms (Groww, Kuvera, Zerodha Coin, Tickertape) are provided for convenience. We do not endorse, control, or assume responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party site. Your use of those sites is governed by their respective terms and policies.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of NiveshIQ shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of NiveshIQ after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
